    Standard or Datacenter — which do I need?

    Standard for most setups. Datacenter only if you need unlimited VMs on that physical server. Standard covers 2 VMs per licence pair. Datacenter is unlimited.

    Will Lenovo ROK activate on an HPE or Dell server?

    No. Lenovo ROK is OEM-locked to Lenovo ThinkSystem hardware. For HPE ProLiant, see the HPE ROK page. For Dell PowerEdge, ask about Dell ROK or standalone Windows Server.

    Do CALs come with the server licence?

    No. CALs are a separate purchase. Tell us your user or device count and we will add the correct quantity to the quote alongside the server licence.
