What is an HPE ROK licence? +
HPE ROK (Reseller Option Kit) is an OEM version of Windows Server licenced specifically for HPE ProLiant servers. It is BIOS-locked to HPE hardware and can only be installed on eligible HPE servers. Includes the OS, Certificate of Authenticity and 90 days of HPE installation support.
Is DDR5 compatible with my current server? +
DDR5 is not compatible with DDR4 servers — it uses a different slot, voltage and memory controller. Your server must specifically support DDR5 (typically Intel Sapphire Rapids or AMD EPYC Genoa). Contact us to confirm compatibility for your specific model.
Can HPE ROK licences be transferred between servers? +
ROK licences are hardware-tied and are not designed for transfer between servers outside of HPE warranty replacement terms. They are intended to remain with the original HPE server they were deployed on.
Do you offer volume pricing for MSPs? +

What DDR5 speeds are available? +
We supply DDR5-4800, DDR5-5600 and DDR5-6400 modules. DDR5-5600 is the most widely supported enterprise speed and offers the best balance of performance, stability and cost. Always check your server’s supported maximum speed before ordering.
