Returns

What can be returned, what can’t, and how to start a return.

These are trade (business) returns terms

VeriLicense sells to businesses. The consumer distance-selling rules, including the 14-day cooling-off right, generally do not apply to business buyers, so a change-of-mind return is not an automatic right. The terms below set out what we do accept. They do not affect any rights you have by law.

Digital software licences are non-refundable once delivered

A digital licence is non-refundable once the licence key has been delivered or revealed. The key is the product, and supply of the digital content begins the moment it is sent or shown, so it cannot be returned. If a delivered key fails to activate, that is handled as a fault rather than a return: see Contact and we will work with the vendor to resolve it.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods

If physical hardware arrives faulty, damaged in transit or not as ordered, tell us within 7 working days of delivery and we will put it right by replacement, repair or refund. Keep the packaging where possible and send photos of any transit damage so we can raise it with the carrier or supplier. Contact us and we will confirm the return method.

Dead-on-arrival hardware is treated as a priority. Faults that appear later in the product’s life are handled under the manufacturer warranty: see Warranty.

Change-of-mind returns

VeriLicense does not accept change-of-mind returns. Most of what we supply is ordered in specifically for you: stock is sourced against the exact part numbers and quantities on your quote, so it cannot be taken back into general inventory once the order is placed.

Please confirm your specification before you order. We would rather get it right up front, so ask us to check compatibility, part numbers or quantities and we will confirm before you commit. This does not affect your cover if goods arrive faulty, damaged or incorrect, which is handled above.

How to start a return

Please don’t send anything back without contacting us first. Look up your order in the order portal, then contact us with your order number. We will confirm whether the item is returnable, the return reference and the return method.
