HPE StoreEasy 1660 Storage with Microsoft Windows Server IoT 2019

The HPE StoreEasy 1660 is HPE's standard 2U network-attached storage appliance for SMB and mid-market customers who need scalable Windows-based file serving without the complexity of a SAN. The R7G24B ships with 12× LFF (3.5") hot-plug bays (HDDs ordered separately or configured to spec), an Intel Xeon Silver 4309Y, 16GB DDR4 ECC RAM, SAS controller with RAID, and Microsoft Windows Server IoT 2019 for Storage pre-installed. It integrates natively with Active Directory, serves SMB and NFS shares, and is managed via HPE iLO 6 — the same interface as the ProLiant server range. A practical co-sell alongside DL360/DL380 builds for customers consolidating file servers or adding shared storage to a new server deployment. Substantially simpler to support than a generic NAS box when the rest of the environment is HPE.
