What's included.
The P40511-B21 runs on a 12Gbps SAS backplane, delivering higher bandwidth and better sustained write endurance than the SATA-equivalent P44013-B21. The Multi Vendor designation removes the HPE-proprietary firmware requirement, broadening compatibility. Suited to write-heavy databases, virtualisation datastores, and transactional workloads. Compatible with DL360, DL380, and other SFF HPE ProLiant Gen10 Plus and Gen11 servers fitted with a SAS-capable RAID controller (such as the MR408i-o or MR416i-o already in the VeriLicense catalogue).
