HPE SmartMemory is the certified memory option for HPE ProLiant Gen10 servers. Third-party DIMMs operate but disable iLO Advanced Memory Protection, removing predictive fault telemetry from the server's health log. This 32GB RDIMM is HPE-qualified for Gen10 Intel platforms: DL360, DL380, DL560, DL580, ML350, and BL460c. Specification: dual rank x4, 2933 MHz (PC4-23400), CL21 latency, 1.2 V, 288-pin ECC Registered. Warranty: 5 years. Gen10 servers typically run 8 or 16 DIMM slots — order by channel configuration for balanced memory access. The HPE-branded status is the same sales argument as HPE ROK: it restores vendor-supported functionality that generic alternatives remove.
