What's included.

The HPE MSA 1060 12Gb SAS SFF (R0Q87A) is a dual-controller 12Gb/s SAS storage bundle in 2U. It ships with 2× dual-port SAS controllers (active-active) and 2× 580W hot-plug redundant power supplies. Up to 24 small-form-factor drive bays accept SAS HDDs or SAS SSDs in any combination. Tier-based auto-tiering moves frequently accessed data to SSD and cold data to HDD automatically. Connects to HPE ProLiant Gen10+/Gen11/Gen12 servers via SAS HBA (sold separately). This is the right answer for customers running 2× ProLiant DL360/DL380 in a Hyper-V or VMware cluster who need shared storage to enable live migration, high availability, and centralised backups — at a substantially lower cost than a full SAN or HPE Nimble. Drives are ordered separately to match the customer's capacity and performance requirements. Quote-required: configuration call recommended to size correctly.
