The HPE Aruba Instant On 1930 24G provides 24 × 10/100/1000 Mbps ports and 4 × SFP/SFP+ uplinks (1G or 10G) in a fanless 1U rack chassis. Set-up takes minutes via the Aruba Instant On mobile app or web portal — no on-site controller, no ongoing cloud subscription fee. Switching capacity is 128 Gbps; latency at 10G is under 1.3 µs. The 1930 supports VLANs, STP, LACP, 802.1X port security, ACLs, and static routing. Power draw is 22.6 W maximum. The right choice where Cisco Meraki is over-specified or a cloud subscription model is unwanted — typically SMB server rooms, branch offices, and MSP-managed sites with fewer than 50 devices.
