Powered by ArubaOS-CX with full REST API and event-driven scripting. Supports OSPF, BGP, VXLAN, and PIM — a genuine enterprise routing platform, not just a managed access switch. Suitable for enterprise campus floor distributions and managed service provider deployments where the prior-proposed Aruba Instant On (JL8xx) range is too lightweight. No Aruba Central subscription required to operate; Central adds cloud management.
