The Cisco Catalyst 9115AXI-E is a Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) indoor access point for medium-density enterprise environments. Three radios cover 2.4 GHz (2×2 MU-MIMO), 5 GHz (2×2 MU-MIMO), and BLE/IoT monitoring. OFDMA reduces overhead and latency across shared channels. Target Wake Time extends battery life on IoT and mobile devices by up to 3–4× compared to 802.11ac. Multi-Gigabit uplink supports 2.5 Gbps backhaul. Bluetooth 5.0 enables location tracking and wayfinding. Controller-managed via Cisco Catalyst Center for centralised policy and visibility. PoE-powered; requires a switch port supporting at least 802.3at. 336 units confirmed in stock at time of research.
