The Cisco Catalyst C1000-24T-4G-L is a 24-port managed gigabit switch for organisations that need structured Layer 2 management without PoE. 24 × 10/100/1000 Mb/s RJ-45 access ports and 4 × 1G SFP uplinks connect into wiring-closet or fibre infrastructure. Fanless design allows quiet deployment in offices, retail backrooms, and IoT environments — on a shelf, in a small comms cabinet, or in a rack with an optional mounting bracket. VLANs, QoS, access control lists, port security, and IGMP snooping are all included. Managed via web GUI, CLI, or SNMP. This is the entry point into the Catalyst 1000 series — well above a commodity unmanaged switch in feature depth, significantly below the Catalyst 9200 in price. Choose the C1000-24P-4G-L if PoE+ power for IP phones, wireless APs, or cameras is required.
