It is the preferred edition for customers running multiple virtual machines on the same physical server, where unlimited virtual operating system rights can be more cost-effective than stacking multiple Standard licences.
This licence covers 16 physical cores and is suitable for enterprise server deployments, private cloud platforms, Hyper-V environments, and infrastructure where scalability, virtualisation and resilience are important.
