The HPE Windows Server 2025 Standard — 16-Core ROK is an HPE Reseller Option Kit licence for organisations deploying Windows Server 2025 Standard on compatible HPE ProLiant server hardware.

Standard edition is the practical choice for businesses running core infrastructure services, file and print, domain services, application workloads and light virtualisation. When all physical cores are correctly licensed, Windows Server Standard provides rights for a limited number of virtual operating system environments, making it well suited to smaller virtualised estates and traditional physical server deployments.

Check server generation, processor core count, edition and access requirements before ordering.
Core-based Windows Server licences generally require all physical processor cores in the server to be licensed, subject to Microsoft licensing rules.
Windows Server CALs are normally required for users or devices accessing Standard and Datacenter server environments, unless an exemption applies.
Remote Desktop Services, SQL Server and other Microsoft application licences are not included unless stated separately.
