What's included.
The SQL Server 2022 User CAL (DG7GMGF0MF3T-0002) licences a single named user to access one or more SQL Server instances running under the Server + CAL model. Use User CALs when the number of devices accessing SQL Server is higher than the number of users — for example, shared workstations with multiple shift workers. Each user needs one CAL regardless of how many SQL Server instances they access. Perpetual licence with Software Assurance included in Year 1. Sold alongside the SQL Server 2022 Standard or Enterprise server licence (sold separately).
