Exchange Online Plan 1 delivers hosted Microsoft Exchange to organisations that need professional email without a full Microsoft 365 suite. Each annual licence covers 1 user with a 50 GB primary mailbox and 50 GB In-Place Archive, email attachments up to 150 MB, and Outlook access on desktop (2013–2024), Outlook on the Web, iOS, and Android via ActiveSync. Exchange Online Protection provides built-in anti-malware and anti-spam filtering. Shared calendars, contacts, room booking, task management, and mobile device wipe are included as standard. The plan covers eDiscovery and carries a 99.9% uptime SLA. Supplied as an NCE annual subscription, billed annually, with no minimum seat count. Natural upsell path: Exchange Online Plan 1 → Microsoft 365 Business Basic (adds Teams and SharePoint) → Microsoft 365 Business Standard (adds desktop Office apps).
