It unlocks Conditional Access policies, MFA enforcement per user, self-service password reset, hybrid identity sync via Microsoft Entra Connect, and SSO to unlimited applications. It is the natural and frequently purchased add-on for customers on M365 Business Basic, Business Standard, or Office 365 E1 — all plans that do NOT include Entra P1. Annual NCE commitment, per user.
