Windows Server 2022 Standard requires minimum coverage of 16 physical cores. Servers with 18, 20, 24, or more cores need additional 2-core licences to cover each extra core pair. Each 7S05007MWW adds 2 physical cores to an existing Standard ROK installation. ROK — activates on Lenovo ThinkSystem and ThinkEdge servers only. Multilingual, no media. Order in the quantity needed: a 24-core server needs the 16-core base (7S05005PWW) plus 4× this add-on. A low-ticket line item that completes any Lenovo server quote where the CPU exceeds 16 cores.
