The Lenovo ThinkSystem SR860 V3 is Lenovo's 4U, 4-socket rack server for workloads that need extreme memory capacity and high core counts — large VMware estates, in-memory databases, SAP HANA, and Oracle RAC. Four Intel Xeon Scalable (5th Gen) sockets support up to 24TB of DDR5 across 96 DIMM slots. PCIe Gen 5, XClarity Controller 2 (XCC2), and redundant 2400W PSUs. VeriLicense lists the SR250, SR630, SR650, and SR655 V3 (all 1U or 2U, 1- or 2-socket) but has no 4-socket Lenovo option. The SR860 V3 provides that tier for Lenovo resellers whose clients run enterprise database or virtualisation platforms at scale.
